Looking across to the building used as the surgery in Doc Martin
This building was originally the village school, a role for which it is used in Doc Martin.
It is now a hotel and cafe, where I have had a couple of cream teas!
I have visited Port Isaac many times including when I was 6 or 7 (see photo below)

The village is famous as the fictional setting as Portwenn in the TV drama “Doc Martin”

It is also the village from where the shanty group “Fisherman’s Friends” come and appeared in both films about the group
