Treyarnon Bay is a family favourite beach which I first visited aged about 6 and have visited many times since.
This page has photos from a trip in May 2024.

One small inlet was where we used to sit for picnics which we named “Pedison’s Cove” after a family we met on our first visit.
In 2014 I took my mother on a trip to Cornwall and we had to visit to Treyarnon Bay (below left)
Mum died in October 2024 at age 100 years and 5 months.
It seemed appropriate to visit on May 14, 2024, which would have been her 101st birthday to scatter some of her ashes, together with some of her best friend who had visited the Bay with my parents in past years. (Below right)
I had chosen a time when the tide would be coming in so the ashes were carried out into the sea where Mum enjoyed so much surfing.
It was clear from plaques on benches and several impromptu “memorial stones” that this Cove meant a lot to other families.
